Message From The Founder

I began this journey knowing three things:

• I have a fierce love of horses, and a passionate desire to end the suffering caused by cruelty, abuse, neglect and ignorance.
• I did not want to open a horse rescue or sanctuary as it would be limited by its geographic boundaries
• I accepted that there are many out there who are more skilled and knowledgeable than me, who are better suited to rehabilitate horses and educate the public.

My desire to help horses worldwide by using my skills and resources to unite all the amazing, dedicated members of the equine community is what led to the foundation of Whispering Hope Ltd., a registered non-profit based on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

Whispering Hope raises funds to support established rescue organizations so that they can continue to do what they already do so well, often on limited resources.

It does not matter whether your knowledge of horses is vast or limited, whether you work with horses for a living, show them, breed them, compete with them, ride them professionally or recreationally; whether you own a few or none at all.what does matter is that you love, admire and respect them and are willing to do your bit to help create a better future for them.

At this stage Whispering Hope is just that..a whisper of hope.a fledgling organization. It will succeed in its mission, but the speed with which it achieves its goals will depend on you.the horse loving community.

Your work is inspiring and fulfilling but it can also be heartbreaking. Whispering Hope is a place where you can bring your joy and your sorrow, your success and your failure (and yes, you will fail at times despite your best efforts). We are here to lift you and carry you through those dark days so that you can continue the wonderful work you do.

It is my hope that here we can put aside our individual differences and come together as one - speak and work as one - against cruelty, abuse, neglect, exploitation and ignorance. To rescue and rehabilitate, to educate, to campaign to change laws, to help people see horses as the noble and gentle creatures that they are.
